Il sorpasso (1962)

The Criterion blu-ray sounds like it's being played from another room. Its high frequencies begin rolling off around 3 kHz, which is ridiculous, and its low frequencies are also audibly cut.

The old Italian Cecchi Gori DVD is much clearer and sounds lovely.

As expected, this disc's sound got top marks from the usual places.
