Kuroneko (1968)

While the Criterion blu-ray uses a newer, much better video transfer than the Masters of Cinema blu-ray, its audio was evidently carried over from the existing master and NRed very heavily. Even by Criterion standards, this is a bad sounding disc. Especially next to the MoC audio, which is stellar -- clean, really not much audible hiss, and very detailed.

The old Masters of Cinema DVD has source (or probably transfer) issues and sounds worse.
