Annie Hall (1977)
The blu-ray sounds bad - hardly any real high end (especially for a film from '77), absolutely no bass (an extreme high-pass filter has seen to that), and a compensatory treble boost to top it off. The old R2 DVD sounds the same, but the R1 DVD fares slightly better (less high-frequency NR, still no bass). I'd very much like to hear the LaserDiscs.
Update (3/19/2020): The MGM LaserDisc is a solid improvement over the other editions, with less noise removal and more detail.
