Pickup on South Street (1953)

The old Carlotta DVD sounds the most natural, with the Criterion DVD being pretty close. The MoC blu-ray is the most muffled.




Note that after adjusting the Carlotta DVD's tempo/pitch, its waveform closely resembles that of the MoC and looks like this.

    Curious if the Criterion BD is like the Crit DVD or more like the MoC BD. I would suspect it wouldn't just be a straight reuse of the DVD audio, but I guess anything's possible.
