The Shop Around the Corner (1940)

The blu-ray sounds solid. Not great, but an improvement over previous editions, and it's better than most Warner Archive releases. The R1 DVD has more noise reduction.

The LaserDisc sounds dupey even at its best. (About 42 minutes at 17 seconds in, near the end of side one, its high end abruptly disappears, so the back half of the film is very muffled.)
