2005 R2 Optimum DVD: No noise reduction or problematic EQ here - a very flat, unmanipulated track. It's clear that the best surviving (optical) elements are pretty rough, but I appreciate nothing destructive being done here to mask this. It's exactly what you'd expect a clean 35 mm print to sound like.
2006 R4 Madman DVD: Like the Optimum DVD.
2008 R1 Koch Lorber DVD: Rolled off above 1.5 kHz, so a bit muffled. It has PAL speed-up, like the other two DVDs.
2012 Gaumont Blu-ray: Heavy hiss reduction, limiting, and midrange overemphasis.
2018 Arrow Blu-ray: Identical to the Gaumont track.
