Breakfast at Tiffany’s (1961)

The 5.1 has music taken from the original elements, and therefore offers greater fidelity compared to the music in the mono. Still, the bass in Mancini’s score in the mono mix sounds ballsier, and more similar to what I remember the original 1961 mono LP sounding like. It kicks ass. Also, the 5.1 appears to have some modern thunder/rain sounds in the film’s final scene, but they’re quite subtle changes. Overall, it’s a fairly faithful remix and it’s certainly one of the better ones available. The mono is available on the US/EUR/CEE discs.
