The 2.0 mono track on the second Arrow blu-ray (of the restored film) sounds superb. Absolutely no issues to speak of. The first Arrow blu-ray has hiss reduction applied. The 5.1 on both is an upmix with nothing to offer over the mono, and it also has some additional hiss reduction.
The original soundtrack is stereo. Dolby Stereo is credited at the end of the film. The 2.0 option on the DC cut is true stereo, but the 2.0 option on the TC cut is just one channel duplicated. It's mono, but shouldn't be...
