Good Morning (1959)

Heavy NR on the audio tracks on the Criterion blu-ray and the BFI blu-ray. The Criterion uses the audio from Shochiku's 2014 restoration, so the Shochiku blu-ray sounds the same. The high-frequency hiss has been mostly removed, but in its place is a mid-frequency rustle that sounds a lot like rain.

The Criterion DVD is quite a bit better, but even better is the Australian Madman DVD, which was presumably sourced from the SD master Shochiku sent to distributors in the 2000s (so the old Tartan and Shochiku DVDs presumably sound the same).
