Wagon Master (1950)

The IVC blu-ray, using a Lobster Films transfer from whatever dupe elements were available to them overseas, looks poor but sounds great. There's some massive clipping present (probably courtesy of IVC), but everything sounds more natural than the Warner Archive DVD, which itself was already better sounding than most Warner DVDs. The main issue with the sound on the Warner DVD is its bass, which has been cut severely. The IVC blu-ray sounds deep and rich during the song sequences, while the Warner DVD is just missing lots of detail down there and sounds thin.
