Revisiting this, the BFI DVD is the only outlier - it's slightly more muffled than the others (usually but not always), despite its misleading frequency line graph. All other editions are derived from the same Fox master with some subtle differences. The BFI blu-ray is perhaps slightly clearer than the others (especially relative to the Criterion blu-ray), but the differences are mild.
