La belle noiseuse (1991)

While the DVD tracks are bright (presumably intentionally, to accentuate the scratches of brushes and pens) the 'restored' audio track is much duller. High frequencies have been removed and low frequencies are strongly emphasised, so the ambient sounds of summer are less prominent and dialogue sounds weirdly bassy.
