The original mono mix on the 1990 LaserDisc sounds excellent. Its highs are often a bit distorted, but at least it has high frequencies.
The blu-ray's mono track is much duller, and the 2007 R1 DVD even more so. The first R1 DVD release (not pictured below) is the most muffled.
