The Curse of the Cat People (1944)

The Warner DVD and the Shout Factory blu-ray share the same very muffled mastering with thin/pinched EQ. The audio track from the horrible-looking stream that was on the BBC iPlayer is much more detailed in its bass and treble.

 

Update (12/9/2021): Added the Image Entertainment LaserDisc. It lacks detail -- very dupey -- and is probably the worse sounding version of the four.
