2004 Toho DVD: Heavy noise reduction and high-pass filtering, leaving no real bass. Heavily EQed. The worst sounding release.
2007 Criterion Eclipse DVD: Much more detailed than the Toho DVD, but still with some hiss and bass reduction.
~2013 Criterion Hulu+ Stream: No hiss or bass reduction whatsoever, making this the most detailed track here. Among the best optical audio tracks I've heard for an older film.
2017 Amazon Video Download: Strangely less clear than the Criterion DVD, but not too dissimilar.
2020 Carlotta Films Blu-ray: Like the Amazon download but with heavy hiss reduction and way too much bass.
